Dear SJAA Families and Friends,

We know this is short notice but given all the wonderful emails, texts and phone calls we have received we hope that many of you might be available tomorrow (Sunday 7/11) from 2-4pm to help with general cleanup of the park.

The city has done a GREAT job clearing all the large trees, broken light poles, etc. and we are very thankful and will continue to coordinate with them. But now its our turn to get a jump on things to ensure a successful Fall season and tackle the remaining debris, and with an army of volunteers we feel we ought to make quick work of it.

With everyone's help we'll get the park looking more "normal" and will also have greater visibility into additional damage that we may have missed that we'll need to address.

In addition, for those who may not be able to physically help onsite with us, we have started an official SJAA crowdfunding event (using the FundRazr platform) for easy, fast and effective donations. All donations will be directed toward damage incurred from the tornado.

Thank you EVERYONE for your ongoing love and support of SJAA, and we thank our other District 2 parks for reaching out and being there for us. A true testament to the strength and resilience of our baseball community.
